Hi, I'am a very very very satisfied user of your previus PCC05 mod.... and I'm sure I'll be a very very very very (...) satisfied user of your incoming - I hope :-) - PCC06/07 mod! So.. I saw in your cockpit pics that the motec display is light blue backlighted: is this a new feature (like Simbin GTR2) that is "on" when the lights (beacons) are on and is "off" when the lights are off? I hope yes.. it would be nice!
Thanks and congratulations for your fabulous jobs!!!
Bye, miRko

This feature like in GTR is not possible in Rfactor, so we decidet to make the blue backlight in the Motec available by upgradesystem of Rfaxctor! So u can choose witch display colour u want to use! But it is noch changeable by switching light on/off.

Ah... I forgot... it's possibilie perhaps to illuminate a led when the lights are "on" (like a fuel led but not blinking for example)... isn't it? It would be a dedicated led for this purpose on the real 997 cockpit... it would be very nice too.. ;-)
Thanks for you attention, bye

Would be nice, but it isn´t possible! Cause if this would be possible, the lightneded backround of the Motec would also be possible...

Ah... so the problem in the rFactor code is that it doesn't recognize when the light are on or off, correct? :blink2

Right. u cannot link materials from outside the cockpit into it.

The "rpm limiter" is an event, that event couses a led to switch on; "low fuel" is also an event, that causes a blinking red turn on... so I thought that "lights on or off" was an event too... I mistook!
Sorry and thank you for the quick reply, good job!
Bye

You can get it working. Just make 2 poly's in front of the LED place and attach them to one of the headlights meshes. You can map the 2 poly's the same as the headlights. When the headlights are off you give it a texture with transparant alpha layer but when the headlights are on you give them a texture with a white alpha and for example a red top layer :)

At this way you can make a LED for braking and the head- and taillights :saufen

Are u shure this worx? Cause i tried it this way and objects from the outside light mesh is not visible in the cockpit! this method only works for the outside mesh...
